Yoshi

Yoshi Sensei is always well organized and dependable. He is very patient with my progress and tailors the lessons to what I need to work on the most. Highly recommended.

Year 2022 will be the 4th year that I have been taking lessons with Yoshi Sensei. And I have had more than 300 lessons with him already. I am not alone, there are many other students who have had hundreds of lessons with him. I started with “Genki” and passed N2 within a year. I do believe that you need institutional type of formal learning and training when it comes to acquire a new language. But to compliment that, I very much like Yoshi Sensei’s serious but relaxed learning atmosphere. Thank you Sensei, for all your guidance all these years. I wish you a healthy, happy and prosperous 2022!

I really appreciated being given the opportunity to talk about my interests at length, with helpful prompts and questions that kept me focussed and engaged. There were several occasions when I struggled to come up with the right word but Yoshi was very patient and gave me the space to think and then prompted me with another question if necessary. Overall, I really enjoyed this lesson and look forward to the next one.
